What made you choose Matt Mathews Photography for your boudoir experience?

“I was added to the Matt Mathews Photography Facebook group, and was pretty much instantly drawn to the attitude of body positivity. I had never really thought about doing a boudoir photo shoot before, but being in the group showed me how empowering it can be. I ended up choosing them for my photos as a birthday present to myself after reading all the posts and testimonials. Self esteem and body image is something I had struggled with a large portion of my life, and this team seemed like the perfect fit for me. “

– What was your favorite part about your session?
“I can’t pick a favorite part! It was all incredible. The make up was gorgeous. The outfits were amazing. I never felt awkward or uncomfortable.  It was like hanging out with good friends, who know how to help you pose and feel amazing and beautiful in your own skin.During the reveal, I was so amazed by the photos and the slideshow Brianna put together.  When you see yourself in your photos, it can totally change your self view.  You realize that you are beautiful, no matter what.”
– Where you nervous about your shoot?
“Honestly, yes. I was a little nervous. I had never done anything like this before. But the nerves quickly faded once I got there and was settled, because they are so great at making you feel comfortable and welcome.”
– What are you taking away from your boudoir experience?
“My self confidence has definitely gotten a boost from this experience! I have struggled with my self image off and on throughout my whole life.  I have struggled with the idea that because I didn’t have the body of a model, I wasn’t beautiful. I’m realizing now that idea is ridiculous! You don’t have to look or be a certain way to be beautiful. It’s why I was drawn to the Matt Matthews team in the first place.”
– Would you recommend a boudoir session to your friends?

“I would 100% recommend a boudoir session to my friends! I had an absolute amazing time reclaiming my confidence and taking amazing photos. Everyone deserves to walk away feeling drop dead gorgeous. And a little bit like a movie star too. ”
