The Lovely Monique recently had her own experience here with the Matt Mathews Team. We LOVED working with this beauty!! Here's a little glimpse into what Monique had to say about here Boudoir Experience.

What made you choose Matt Mathews Photography for your boudoir experience?

I came across Matt's page on Facebook several years ago. I watched his page and all the beautiful women. I read all the stories. I saw all the support and love that the women had for each other. I read about how life changing it was for them. How they say themselves in a different light. I so desperately wanted to feel that. After everything I had been through and was going through, I needed to see myself differently. I had grown to hate myself so much. So I decided to finally after years of watching his page, having a bunch of surgeries, and ending an 18 year marriage, to dive in and go for it.

What was your favorite part about your session?

By far my favorite part was Matt. He made us feel so comfortable. We laughed so much. He is truly one of the most precious and genuine people I have ever met. You can tell how much he truly cares about his clients and the love he has for what he does.

Where you nervous about your shoot?

Nervous?!?!?! Oh God yes!!!! I was petrified. I cried and got sick the night before. I was shaking the whole way there. I kept trying to decide if I was going to back out from being so scared. But he literally melted all that away as soon as he opened the door and smiled. He has a presence about him that just takes away all those nerves.

What are you taking away from your boudoir experience?

It is ok to love yourself. It's ok to do something for yourself. We get so wrapped up as women trying to be there for everyone else, take care of everyone else, uplift everyone else, that sometimes we loose sight of who we are. God created us as beautiful women. We are all goddesses in our own way. And sometimes we just need an angel like Matt and his team to wake us up and remind us of that.

Would you recommend a boudoir session to your friends?

I ABSOLUTELY would and have!! I've sent several people his way and told them they needed to do this. It's not just a session. It's an experience. Its life changing. Its mind altering. And after it's all done, you get beautiful products to take him to be a constant reminder when you start feeling down, that the gorgeous woman in those photos are you! You are not what everyone has tried to convince you that you are. You are THAT woman in the photos. THAT is you. And YOU are beautiful. So yes, I will always reccomend Matt and his team. And I look forward to my next session that is already booked!!!
